This report is generated and attached to the PO when it is approved. The document can also be included in the PO Approval form. This seeded report is in XSLFO format and is unusable for most companies since it does not have the necessary data or layout. This presentation will show how to get around this problem.

Implementing Automated Engineering Change Orders (ECO)
On Monday, May 5, 2008, Maxtek Components Corporation (a Tektronix Company) implemented automated Engineering Change Orders (ECO), including approval workflows for items, bills of materials, routings, and drawing changes. Until now, Engineering Change Orders requests and approvals have been carried out with paper and signatures gathered in sequential fashion. With this implementation, change orders will be entered electronically, and all approvers will be simultaneously notified. The new process is expected to eliminate lost or misplaced change order requests and greatly reduce time to gather approval signatures.
