  • Oracle Database Administrator (full time/direct hire)

    Perform ongoing database administration, maintenance, troubleshooting, tuning, installation, backup/recovery, and data migration of Oracle 8i, 9I, 10g, SQL Server 7, 2000 and 2005 databases. Administrate and maintain Oracle Financial Applications R11i.

    Requirements:
    5+ years experience performing Oracle 8i and 9i administration (familiarity with Oracle 10g desired), including use of RMAN, partitioning, streams, replication and parallel processing
    2+ years experience performing MS SQL Server 2000/2005 administration
    2+ years experience in Oracle 9iAS
    Oracle Financial Applications R11i
    Database administration concepts, database design, backup and recovery, modeling, data warehousing, performance tuning, monitoring, and security
    UNIX shell scripting
    Proven experience in mentoring and training DBAs and developers
    Requires a BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Our client near Bellevue, WA is replacing their PeopleSoft software with an Oracle EBS solution. They are currently seeking a full-time Oracle EBS Technical Lead. You will lead the implementation and support of business apps from a technical perspective. You will mentor development staff in Oracle specific technologies (Reports, Discoverer, XML Publisher, API’s).

    Required Skills:
    • Experience with a full-scale implementation of Oracle EBS
    • Strong technology focus and aptitude (Oracle Apps, Oracle development tools) is required
    • 5+ years demonstrated development experience is required (PL/SQL, Reports, Discoverer)
    • 5+ years of technical work experience with Tier 1 Enterprise applications (Oracle, PeopleSoft, SAP)
